Vallee Forestry Equipment is a Canadian company located in Saint-Denis-de-Brompton, Quebec.

They have been specializing for over 25 years in the design, manufacturing and distribution of recreational forestry machines and tools. The Vallee mission is to offer easy-to-use and durable products at affordable prices.

Since its creation, Vallee Forestry Equipment has sold thousands of portable sawmills and other forestry products across Canada and the United States. More recently, the company introduced the Red Runner product line to increase its entry-level product offering for amateur and occasional forestry workers.

About Vallee Forestry Equipment

The company's history began in 1998, when Omer Vallée was working his woodlot in the municipality of Saint-Denis de Brompton, Quebec. He wanted to acquire an affordable, robust and easy-to-use sawmill for his personal projects. With limited supply at the time, Mr. Vallée purchased a rudimentary sawmill and upgraded it to better meet his needs.

Omer's new sawmill quickly became the talk of the town. Neighbors would come to Mr. Vallée's house to buy his machine. At that time, the idea of marketing his own portable sawmill was not a goal for him. However, at the insistence of one of his neighbors, he agreed to build a second mill and sell it to him. One thing led to another and the Vallee portable sawmill was born.
